Hello!

If you have taken a drive thru the area east of Humboldt Park  you will see new businesses on Division to the south, Western to the east, and North Avenue on the north border.  Also, new developments are in evidence, as well as many of the orignal properties have been rehabbed or are being worked on.  This area is just west of well-known Wicker Park, and south of Logan Square.  And... Humboldt Park itself is beautiful and offers many things/activities to people of all ages.

Please feel free to contact me if you have further interest.

Maria

Nice to hear from you!  Austin High School is now named Austin Polytechnical Academy, and since 2007 it is a college and career prep high school.  Located at 231 N. Pine, it is in the Austin area.  The Humboldt Park area is further north/east.

if you are affiilated with the latin kings it's great but, the crime rate much like in wicker park is not reportered to people who are not on public aid...if you hear what i am saying...but if you  spend a weekend night in da hood I am sure you will hear the gunshots I mean the cars back firing that's what the cops will tell you...

Negative, negative...have any  posters actually been to the park?  Diven around and thru it?  Beautiful lagoon, nature walk paths, tennis court, activities for families, new CUBS ballfield, delicious food, festivals thru the summer, and a rose garden where people pose for their wedding photos?

Most of neighborhood is infested with crime, however things  appear to be looking up.  There have always been great activies that take place during the day, however it is a whole new world after dark.  Check the  block at both times of day and especially warm days and you will get a clear picture  to decide
