Jay-bee,
To take advantage of your VA benefit, speak to a mortgage office who will help you with obtaining your eligibility certificate from the VA, and will also pre-approve you for your mortgage. VA loans feature no required downpayment, but they do require the home to be in relatively good condition. For more information, and the names of mortgage lenders that can help you, email me at dmitchell@ziprealty.com.

Go to va.com fill out form on line for info and someone will get back to you within 48 hrs, a lot is over phone but they do send a packet by UPS to get your info bank statements, job info etc... then once your pre qualified you get a phone call from another part of the process, finding you a realtor, it's great but a lot of work on your end but well worth it. How do I know? I'm going through the process of buying a house with VA loan right now... They are strictor but it is to protect us the buyer and Vet. Good luck on your journey of becoming a homeowner.

Jay-Bee,
First of all, thank you for your service.
I can help you with the process. We will need to get you pre-approved before looking for a home, as it will make the process much simpler. I can take an application with you and we'll take a look at your credit report. I can send you a checklist of documents to start gathering. We just need to do some fact finding at first, and get an action plan together. If you're ready to start looking for a home right now, I can get you to closing very quickly, in about three weeks' time total.
I would be honored to earn your business. You can contact me at 214-862-3579 or email me at JLyng@PNLending.com.
Thanks!
