Utility costs can vary widely depending on the size of the townhome, it's age and even the number of people living in a particular townhome.

 

You can call the utility company for a property you're interested in and they will give you the average utility bills for that particular address.

That's what I did and progress energy promptly gave me the info. BUT If the house has been on the market for a long time and is unoccupied, make sure you get the info for the time period when it was occupied and make sure you get info for January and August - two months that have extreme tempertures.
