15113 Winding Ash is a foreclosure and will not take a option to purchase. Property on Yorktown dr, I would be happy to check for you after talking with you.

So, I've spoken with the listing agent on 300 Yorktown in Colonial Heights and they probably would entertain a lease-purchase, but would need an $8000 deposit (as they'll need that for their mortgage down payment on their next house). 

As for 15113 Winding Ash, that's actually one of my listings and its a bank foreclosure from Bank of America, so a lease-purchase is not possible on that one.

how long does someone have to wait after a foreclosure before a bank would finance them? also how long would they have to wait to apply for a VA loan if he/she is a veteran?

If you have a FHA or a VA loan then you can purchase a home in 3 years or if you have a conventional loan it is 4 years.
