We are looking for a home in zipcode 95835 but need to be able to store our 40ft trailer on our property. We are looking for a 4 bedroom, 2 bath home somewhere in the price range of $200,000 to $250,000.

It would be the rare home in 95835 that can accommodate such a large trailer. Most of the communities in the 95835 are governed by HOA's and those that are not the lots are not that large. You should also check with the city of Sacramento to see if it is allowable to store a trailer of that size on your residential lot, that is providing you can find one.

Areas like Rio Linda, Elverta, and Del Paso Heights will accommodate both your lot size and price range. However, there are some lots in Natomas 95835 zoned as agricultural-residential that are up to 1 acre in size likely to work for a 40ft trailer but they're not many to choose from. As of 11-11-11, 2 listings are available, one is land and the other a contingent short sale (meaning the seller accepted an offer & is waiting bank approval).

The largest residential size lots for the Natomas 95835 areas are around 0.25 acres & $325k-$360k in price.

You may have to step outside of the central Natomas area in and around Rio Linda or Elverta to get the land needed to store.
Can find some pretty nice options as well.
Let me know if I can assist my friends.
