Is there a pool, transit nearby, parks? My husband just entered his 1st year of Medical School at the UoU, and his credit is like 720+, while mine is 620. We make very little income using my Mary Kay home business, student loans, and grants My in-laws are willing to help out with cosigning and what not, but what else can we do to purchase our 1st home? We're new at this. Will we need co-signers for our situation? We could quite possibly come up with a $6k downpayment as well. What are your suggestions to point us in the right direction to purchase this place or one very similar?

In this community there is a pool and there is transit nearby and as far as parks there is one in the community. these type of homes have what we call HOA which this one has 165.00 a month to cover the amenities in this complex. One other thing on these type of home we would need to check and make sure the complex qualifies for FHA financing this is one of the most important reasons to contact a lender first because you would need to know what type of loan you would be able to qualify for. Your credit scores look great, but this is a question that would be better answered by my lender. Her Name is Wendy Lloyd and she works with us on all our clients lending needs. Yes with a Fico score's like that you should not have a problem getting a loan, you may need to use a co-signer due to your income and debts depending on what they are and how much your new home payments will be. I would suggest you talking with a loan officer to see what your options are as far as financing and payments are concerned. They will be able to tell you if you need a co-signer or not.

There are some grants available for down payments and I have a bank that will match up to $5,000 of money you have saved towards your down payment as well.
