You're gonna have to go lower on the price or reduce those awful homeowner's DUES!

This looks like a nice condo, but the HOD's are insane.  What does $300 a month get you?

I would make an offer on this place, but it would have to be in the $160,000 range at best or lower those homeowner's dues.

Hi Daina;

I cannot tell from this string - But, which Condo are you referring to?  The HOA dues are not set by Realtors, but by the Home Owner's Association.  I agree, some of them seem very high; but it depends on the amenities and utilities being covered.

 The pictures don't tell the whole story.  The kitchen is going to need work, new countertops and floor to help lighten it as well as changing the stove to a free standing so a Microwave can be added.  We put an offer in on this condo.  The $300 gets you building, landscaping, sauna, pool and clubhouse maintenance.  It also pays for water, garbage, sewage, and basic cable.  Add to that a golf course within walking distance and we figure it will be easy to keep it rented.
