What area are you focuesed on? We have 80 agents in our office and we have some of the best local experts in various areas around Western Washington. These Realtors have been in the business for several years. Some work on the Penninsula, others North, others South, and then the City. I'm sure some of them will comment on your post, but I want to be able to put you in touch with the group that will most likely have the information that you are looking for.

We are retired and totally not tied to anything. We can live anywhere, we want trees, privacy, large workshop or room for one
open floor plan, high ceilings, NO associations or townhouses. We would prefer to not see any other homes or people from our property. Modular is a possibility. The dream workshop and privacy will probably be the two most important factors.
Open floor plan and a wheelchair friendly home. Hubby says today he would like to max at 300,000 subject to change. Have letters from lender already. Are in a R.V and heading your way, email best

at this point we do NOT know what area will interest us. We are in a R.V. and coming up from Calif. Have always lived near Ocean, but privacy .trees open floor plan that is wheel chair friendly are in our hopes. Want Rural. Do NOT want to be in a large town.

I wish I could tell you which areas we want, but we do not know your area at all. We have grandchildren that live in Stanwood Washington. I have never met the parents or the grandchildren (it seems so strange to be a grandmother when I have never been a mother, these are from my husband prior marriage). If we like them we may want to live near them, if their lifestyles are totally offensive to our then we will NOT want to be close enough to be built in baby-sitters. There was a modular in Bandon Oregon around $262,500 that looked perfect for us, It was on 54011 Rosa Rd, Bandon Mls#11359180. It just Sold.
But looking at that you can see what we are looking for. Privacy, Trees, Large workshop or room for one to be built. A 40x40 workshop is his dream. I want high ceilings and open floor plan that is wheel-chair friendly. I have a spinal cord disability from being a professional water skier at ABC Marine World/Africa U.S.A. (aka a professional fool), I also have 2 German Shepherd Service dogs. They pull my wheel chair.

Hello, You may like the Gig Harbor, Key Penninsula Area. My parents live on 7 acres out there and there is plenty of privacy
It is near the Puget Sound and many lakes so you can see the water often! I am from Sacramento myself and loved that waterski show at Marine World! Sorry you hurt yourself doing it. I wish you well in your search for homes!

I did a quick MLS search on the Gig harbor and Key Peninsula area and came up with over 20 homes. Not all of them have large shops but the lots are large enough that a shop could be built if the home was ideal ideal for you. Several of the homes have large shops. All homes have over 1 acre. All are under $250,000. Several are stick built (wood framed homes) and others are manufactured or mobile homes.
If you need to be close to medical facilities Gig harbor does have a lovely new modern hospital that caters for the needs of most of our residents here. And if you want plenty of trees, we are surrounded by them so it should not be hard to find you the ideal home in this area, Gig Harbor is only about an hours drive to downtown Seattle and about 15 minutes to Tacoma and 30-35 mins to Pt orchard & Bremerton..
Welcome to the Pacific Northwest. I also vacated CA about 7 years ago![]()

I found a great option for you! 5.6 acres, single level remodeled with you guessed it a 50x36 wired shop with RV door! It is 300k and been on market for over 100 days so room for negotiation I'm sure!
MLS # 242854. It is in th etown of Shelton, a quiet logging mill town. It is so lovely! Look at the MLS number and let me know what you think.
